Meet the trainer!
Hi, I'm Leslie Kopitskie (KPA-CTP) (AKC CGC Evaluator)
I’m passionate about helping dogs and their people build strong, positive relationships through reward-based training. With over 10 years of hands-on dog handling experience and 6 years specializing in dog training. My journey began from a young age, growing up with dogs then working in shelters, dog daycare, boarding, and completing veterinary assisting school! I developed a deep understanding of canine behavior, body language, and the unique needs of every dog.
I’ve completed formal education in canine training at Karen Pryor Academy, where I became a certified training partner (KPA-CTP) and I gained a solid foundation in science-based, humane methods. I am also an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, certified to assess and guide dogs through the CGC program's standards of good behavior and obedience. With 6 years of hands-on training experience, I specialize in making training fun, effective, and tailored to each dog’s unique needs. Whether you're raising a new puppy or navigating behavior challenges, I’m here to guide you every step of the way—using kindness, consistency, and plenty of treats!
